You might of heard about some of the new games that are shooting to be released in 2010. Some are: Assassins Creed 2, World of Warcraft Cataclysm Expansion, Fable III, Fallout: New Vegas, Bioshock 2, Halo: Reach, God of War III, and Guild Wars 2 all just to name a few.
My personal opinion is that you have to wait and see. A lot of times movie trailers suck but the actual film will rock your socks! Which is probably going to happen with the Warcraft/World of Warcraft Movie. All these are successors to great games. I think just from what I saw from Fallout 3 and Bioshock that they are both going to fall under the great category. God of War III and Cataclysm are going to be in the realm of: No Fucking Idea. The trailer for Cataclysm looks good, but with the addition of Goblins, races being able to be almost any class, and the reshaping of Azeroth this has the potential to be that baby who walks for two seconds and falls flat on it’s little fucking face (huge in this case!). As for God of War III I really have no idea. I’ve heard great reviews for I and II but I never had the chance to play them, hopefully that isn’t the case with III.
I never played Fable or Guild Wars so once again, No Fucking Idea. My friends had a lot of good things to say about Fable II so with that I can only guess it will turn out good. Guild Wars is a little cloudy for me, I don’t know the story, I don’t know anyone who plays it and I really don’t care. I am a Warcraft guy, not a Guild Wars fan.
